11:35 a.m., Jan. 12, 2011----Effective Jan. 1, the University of Delaware implemented the Criminal Background Check (CBC) Policy for all new employees. The University is committed to protecting the safety and security of all members, property and assets of the UD community.
All new employees -- faculty, staff, student workers and other individuals who hold paid positions -- will be required to complete a background check in order to begin employment.

All offer status webforms will route through Records Management/CBC, to initiate the background check. Graduate Students on Contract will be identified when the GSCRF form is received. The Hiring Notification Form will be required for miscellaneous wage, supplemental professionals and undergraduate student workers.
