The task force is pursuing students who would like to support and cultivate UD student interest in campus sustainability issues as well as the UD Climate Action Plan.

The time commitment will begin in late June and continue throughout the 2011-2012 academic year.

Selected students will have the following responsibilities:

-- Must represent UD at the Institute on Sustainability, which will be held June 12-14, in Boulder.

-- Must contribute to the efforts of the UD Sustainability Task Force by serving on one or more of these working groups: Sustainability Fund, Earth Week Planning, RecycleMania Planning, Campus Sustainability Day Planning, Green Liaisons, Marketing and Communication, and Executive Committee.

To qualify, undergraduate students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher and graduate students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The students must be living in or close to Newark through the end of the 2011-2012 academic year and must be able to attend the Sustainability Institute in Boulder this summer. (Full funding provided.)

For further information about this opportunity with the UD Sustainability Task Force, contact Kathleen Kerr via email at [kkerr@udel.edu]. Applications, available in Word format, are due by April 8.
