1:22 p.m., Feb. 22, 2011----“Tipping the Scale Toward Health and Happiness,” a work-life balance workshop for University of Delaware employees, will be held from 12:05-12:55 p.m., Monday, March 14, in the Gallery of the Perkins Student Center.
Margaret Keenan, director of health psychology at Christiana Care's Preventive Medicine Institute whose work focuses on the emotional and behavioral aspects of health and wellness, will discuss how values, priorities, resources and obligations guide the choices that influence work-life balance, and how that in turn affects mental, emotional and physical health.
“Tipping the Scale Toward Health and Happiness” is being co-sponsored by the HealthyU Employee Wellness Program and the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
Seating is limited and online registration is encouraged. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided.
