4:23 p.m., Dec. 9, 2010----The University of Delaware Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will hold a special Nobel Prize webcast event on Friday morning, Dec. 10, as Richard F. Heck, the University's Willis F. Harrington Professor Emeritus of Chemistry and Biochemistry, receives the 2010 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

The event will begin at 10:15 a.m. in Room 101 of Brown Laboratory with the webcast starting at 10:30.

The campus community is invited to attend.

The ceremonies will be webcast live in full at Nobelprize.org as Heck and his fellow honorees receive their Nobel Prizes.
