4:44 p.m., Aug. 25, 2010----Parking and Transportation has announced several enhancements for the upcoming year that are based on Q&A sessions with UD staff members held earlier this summer.

For all UD benefited employees: If you wish to change from a Central Gate, Central, Employee Gate or Gold permit to a Blue permit, you may do so through Sept. 30. (Previously, Blue permits were only allowed as the first permit choice of the academic year.)

For patrons choosing a Blue permit on North Campus: The Express Route will run one full loop starting at 7 a.m. at Christiana Commons, Mondays through Fridays. Loops have been added to the Express Route until 10:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, as well.

Only for those with ADA parking privileges: If you have a Central Gate, Employee Gate or Central permit, you can park in handicap spaces, service vehicle spaces or for free at meters throughout the Central Zone.

For patrons parking on South Campus: Evening Route 1 has been extended. The last loop will now start at 11:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
