The day will include a student symposium of undergraduate concern for environmental issues.

The organizing team, including the UD Student Government Association, invites undergraduate students to submit video presentations that have a focus on environmental sustainability in the community.

Submitted videos will stream in Memorial Hall during the daylong activities, which will take place on The Green.

Topics can include issues such as sustainable energy, policy, or any other related aspect that students would like to address.

Throughout the day, all video entries will be shown; however, only three will be selected as finalists. The top three groups will receive a $300 scholarship voucher that can be used for books or other student-related expenses.

In order to be considered for this event, e-mail an abstract of no more than 250 words about your video to [lpisarcz@udel.edu] by Oct. 8. Video submissions are limited to three people per group.

Videos should be approximately five minutes in length.

The Delaware Environmental Institute will be launched on Friday, Oct. 23.
