This day will feature a student symposium of graduate level research on environmental issues, including climate change, contamination and remediation, and ecosystem health.

The organizing team invites graduate students to submit posters on research topics such as sustainable energy, policy, climate change, environmental contamination or ecology.

New projects are welcome, but posters from previously completed original research are also acceptable.

The poster session will be held on The Green at the University of Delaware's Newark campus.

Thirty entries will be given the opportunity to present, and three will be selected as finalists.

The three finalists will receive a $300 travel voucher for use in presenting the poster at a conference.

To be considered for this event, e-mail an abstract of no more than 250 words to [ud.graduatestudentsenate@gmail.com] by Oct. 8. Poster submissions are limited to one per person.

Accepted posters should be mounted on a 3- by 4-foot foam board for display on Oct. 22.

The Delaware Environmental Institute will be launched on Friday, Oct. 23.
