The iPOLL database consists of opinion data from the Roper Center, which is based at the University of Connecticut in Storrs and is the largest archive of public opinion information. It is a comprehensive database of 500,000 questions and answers asked in the U.S. since 1935.

Most of the major survey research organizations that have done work in the areas of social and political research in the United States are represented in iPOLL. Among them are The Gallup Organization, The Roper Organization, Louis Harris and Associates, the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post, and the Associated Press.

The University of Delaware Library subscription to the Roper Center, in addition to providing access to iPOLL, also includes access to RoperExpress, which allows for unlimited express downloads of datasets in ASCII and SPSS portable formats.

Access to iPOLL and RoperExpress via the licensing agreement is available to faculty, staff, and students of the University of Delaware from the Roper Center Web page.
