12 p.m., Sept. 14, 2009----The University of Delaware is becoming increasingly globalized, and many international students and visiting faculty are part of the UD campus community. In fact, more than one-fifth of the University's 1,338 entering graduate students this semester are from nearly three dozen countries other than the United States.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, the Office for International Students and Scholars will begin hosting a series of information sessions for our UD students and scholars from other countries.

The sessions will be held the third Thursday of each month in Room 104 Gore Hall from 5-6:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified.

The topics are as follows:

Sept. 17 - Academic Integrity

Oct. 15 - Employment Authorization

Nov. 19 - Traveling Outside the United States

Dec. 17 - Counseling and Student Development

Jan. 21 - Graduation and Life After Graduation

Feb. 18 - Income Taxes and Tax Treaties

March 18 - Driver's Licenses and Owning a Car

April 15 - Authorization
