12:03 p.m., Sept. 21, 2009----The Delaware Aerospace Education Foundation (DASEF) will host a “Dinosaurs to Space Family Fundraiser Day” from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Outpost at 585 Big Oak Road, Smyrna, Del.

Plenty of fun-filled family activities are on the agenda, including a chance to observe one of NASA's Lunar Sample Disks, rocket launching demonstrations, solar viewing opportunities, dino printing and moon boots, a chance to design a lunar rover, face painting activities, sun observation in DASEF's observatory, learning about the ILC Dover's spacesuits, exploring the DASEF ship, experiencing the Star Lab, and seeing the new life-like Velociraptor and T-Rex.

Also scheduled are a nature walk, a chance to explore DASEF's unique sun tower, a kite-flying break, a chance to learn about dinosaurs, plus educational movies and audio stories.

This is a rain-or-shine event. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase. The entrance fee, per person, is $5, and children 3 and younger are admitted free of charge.
