12:29 p.m., Oct. 6, 2009----Taize services at Newark United Methodist Church, 69 E. Main St., will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m.
“Meditative music and scripture readings set the tone for this quiet, reflective service,” said the Rev. Mary Haggard, executive director of the Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry. “If you're in the midst of some chaos, we hope that you will take advantage of this time to sit still and be filled with peace.”
Taize will be offered the first Wednesday of each month through the fall.
