10:30 a.m., Oct. 23, 2009----More than 100 University of Delaware student volunteers, including representatives of Blue Hens athletics teams, assisted with the 2009 Special Olympics Delaware soccer skills competition held Thursday, Oct. 22, at UD's Fred Rullo Stadium.
More than 400 competitors from Delaware schools participated in the event, which included basic and advanced soccer skills events in dribbling, passing and shooting.
This was the 31st annual Special Olympics Delaware soccer skills competition.
