8:55 a.m., Oct. 16, 2009----Students in the University of Delaware's Rodney Hall A freshman residence complex on West Campus will sponsor a “Power of Pink” fund raiser from 2 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Students will have an opportunity to be photographed by a professional photographer, either for an individual portrait or with friends and roommates, for a small fee.
There will be baked goods, music and informational pamphlets. A portion of the proceeds from the photographs and baked goods will be donated to the special needs fund at Christiana Hospital.
