9:53 a.m., Oct. 21, 2009----Beginning Monday, Oct. 26, pedestrian traffic in the North Campus area east of North College Avenue will be temporarily rerouted to permit the replacement of steam and condensate lines. Steam service to buildings in the area will not be affected.
To minimize impact on foot traffic, the work will be performed in two stages. Weather permitting, the project is scheduled for completion in mid-December. Vehicular traffic should not be impacted.
The project continues the replacement of steam and condensate lines that began in late August. The project also included the installation of isolation valves in existing manholes in the area.
