9:32 a.m., Oct. 23, 2009----Several new features have been added to BlueHens.com, the University of Delaware's athletics Web site, including video capabilities, greater visibility for the online merchandise store and the UD Athletic Fund, and links to a Facebook site and Twitter feeds.
In the upper righthand portion of the main BlueHens.com Web page, a new Birds Eye Video has been added. Currently, the video features Blue Hens quarterback Pat Devlin of the 5-2 football team.
Also new to that portion of the page is a button for the University of Delaware Athletic Fund, providing an opportunity for fans to make gifts online. The events calendar remains in that portion of the page, now in a drop down format.
The UD Bookstore online merchandise link can be found upper left on the page, providing quick online access to a variety of Blue Hens gear. The link provides quick access to the item that appears on the BlueHens.com page, and the items shown rotate.
The Facebook and Twitter links can be found in the middle lefthand portion of the page.
The changes continue BlueHens.com as a visually stimulating and spirit-oriented site that provides the latest in news and information and easy to use navigation for UD fans.
