7:29 a.m., Oct. 30, 2009----DelaWELL, the State of Delaware's wellness program, is offering a free online health risk assessment (HRA) for University of Delaware faculty and staff.
The HRA provides individuals with their current health status and personalized feedback to help them better manage their health, behaviors and risks. The HRA tool measures specific health behaviors such as nutrition, smoking and fitness habits in addition to job and life satisfaction, safety and biometric data.
Individuals can access the HRA electronically, in a secure online environment, or use paper and pencil to complete the mail-in form. Personalized, confidential results are reported directly back to participants, including positive reinforcement for areas in which individuals are doing well and recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Complete the HRA before Dec. 31 and be entered into a monthly drawing for a free YMCA membership. To get started, download the DelaWELL health risk assessment information in PDF format.
