9:14 a.m., Nov. 25, 2009----The University of Delaware Student Centers will sponsor a “Toys For Hope” drive from Monday, Nov. 30, through Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Toys and other items collected will be donated to the Child Life Program at the Nemours Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.
“Toys For Hope” organizers are seeking donations of a new toy, game, stuffed animal or arts and crafts item or a gently used book, DVD, music CD or video game. Items for ages ranging from infant to teen are needed.
Drop off boxes will be available in the Activities and Programs Office in Room 218 of the Trabant University Center, at the Trabant Event Services Office and at the Perkins Student Center Event Services Desk from Nov. 30 through Dec. 8.

The Student Centers “Toys For Hope” drive will conclude on Wednesday, Dec. 9, with a special donation drop off site in the Perkins Student Center concourse from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be a station to fill out special greeting cards that will also be donated to the children. Light refreshments will be provided.
