12:10 p.m., Nov. 23, 2009----University of Delaware Employee Nights at the Bob Carpenter Center, featuring free tickets for UD employees, have been announced for two Blue Hens home basketball games.
There will be free tickets to employees for the UD men's basketball game against the College of William and Mary at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 6, and for the women's basketball game against Towson University at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28.
Tickets for employees will be available beginning at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, exclusively at the box offices of the Trabant University Center and the Bob Carpenter Center.
Tickets will remain available for the men's game until Tuesday, Jan. 5, at noon, and until Wednesday, Jan. 27, at noon for the women's game.
Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. There is a limit of four tickets per employee with UD identification.
UD employees planning to attend the women's basketball game Jan. 28 are encouraged to bring unused cell phones -- from any
provider -- to donate to the Verizon Wireless HopeLine collection in the
Bob Carpenter Center lobby during pregame. All donated cell
phones will be turned into support for victims of domestic violence.
