7:51 a.m., Nov. 6, 2009----The Baltimore and Washington, D.C., alumni clubs will co-sponsor a pre-game tailgate tent when the University of Delaware football team takes on the U.S. Naval Academy in a contest to be played Saturday, Nov. 14, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.
The tailgate will be from noon to 3 p.m., with kickoff at 3:30. Special guests will include UD Athletic Director Bernard Muir, YoUDee and the Blue Hen cheerleaders.
Cost is $25 per person, and game tickets are sold separately. Registration is available online.
UD football watch parties are being planned by both the Washington, D.C., and Lancaster, Pa., alumni clubs.
The Washington alumni are planning watch parties at Union Jack's Pub in Ballston Commons, 671 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, Va., beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, when the Hens face Navy, and Saturday, Nov. 21, when UD faces Villanova University. The Lancaster alumni are planning a watch party at the Brickyard Restaurant and Sports Pub, 415 N. Prince St., Lancaster, at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21. Alumni are encouraged to wear blue and gold. The event is free but registration is requested.

A regatta for UD women's rowing alumni will be held from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the rowing boathouse on the Christina River in Wilmington, Del. Brunch will be served following the regatta. RSVP to Laura Slice at [lslice@udel.edu] by Nov. 2.
Kent and Sussex Counties Alumni Club will hold happy hour from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Frazier's Restaurant and Bar in Dover. Cost is $10 per person and includes appetizers. Registration can be completed online.
New York City Alumni Club will hold happy hour from 6:30-10:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Southern Hospitality, 1460 Second Ave. There will be an open bar from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by a cash bar. The event is free but registration is requested.
Baltimore Alumni Club will hold happy hour from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, at Claddaghs, 2918 O'Donnell St., Canton Square. Registration is available online.
Alumni are encouraged to sign up for e-mail updates concerning the 2010 UD Forum and Reunion Weekend, which will kick off on Friday, June 4.
