2:23 p.m., March 24, 2010----The University of Delaware will host two job fairs for people seeking jobs in education for the next school year. The events will take place Tuesday and Wednesday, April 20 and 21, at the Bob Carpenter Center on South College Avenue in Newark.

Recruiters from dozens of school districts will be there to meet and interview prospective candidates for fall positions as teachers, administrators, and specialists.

The fair on Tuesday, Teach in Delaware Day, will last from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and will feature recruiters from schools specifically in Delaware.

On Wednesday, the event Project Search will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and personnel from schools in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina and the District of Columbia will be in attendance.

Registration is free to UD students and alumni. For all non-UD students, registration is $10.

It is extremely important that students arrive early each day to register. Registration for Teach in Delaware Day is from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and registration for Project Search is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
