3:45 p.m., July 31, 2009----The University of Delaware's Office of Human Resources was recently notified by Delaware Technical and Community College (DTCC) that a limited number of tuition waiver exchange openings are available for the 2009-10 academic year.

This exchange program waives the tuition for dependents of full-time UD employees who are enrolled on a full-time basis in any degree-granting program at Delaware Tech.

The Office of Human Resources is accepting inquiries by e-mail [ben-serv@udel.edu] or by phone (831-2171) from employees who wish to be considered for this waiver for the 2009 fall semester. A special lottery to select students for this year's waiver program will be conducted from all eligible inquiries received in HR by Friday, Aug. 21. Please note that your dependent must be registered for at least 12 credits at Delaware Tech to be considered for this waiver.

As a reminder, each eligible University employee is limited to two requests per semester for all UD benefits programs that waive tuition for full-time matriculated undergraduate students. This maximum applies to tuition remission at UD, tuition exchange at other participating universities and this Delaware Tech tuition waiver exchange program, in any combination.
