3:52 p.m., July 6, 2009----The Research Office will host a semiannual campuswide training session at Clayton Hall on Monday, July 20. The offerings include the following topics and are open to faculty and administrators:
Registration - 9-9:30 a.m. (Lobby)
Morning Sessions - 9:30-10:35 a.m. and 10:45-11:50 a.m.
--Pre-award changes
--Cost-Transfer Policy
Lunch - Noon-1 p.m.
--Lunch keynote address on "Future of Research Administration at UD" with Mark Barteau, senior vice provost for research and strategic initiatives, and Rob Specter, vice president for finance.
Afternoon Sessions - 1:10-2:15 p.m. and 2:25-3:30 p.m.
--Effort Reporting
--Cost Accounting Standard Guidelines
The Research Office encourages faculty and staff to attend some or all of this training. Lunch will be provided.
The deadline for registration is July 13. Registration is required and can be completed online.
