9:13 a.m., Jan. 22, 2010----The University of Delaware Alumni Association will host a pregame brunch on the east concourse of the Bob Carpenter Center prior to the Fightin' Blue Hens women's basketball game against Georgia State University on Sunday, Feb. 14.
The brunch will begin at 10 a.m., with game time at noon.
The brunch will include eggs, bagels, pastries, fruit, sandwiches, pasta salad and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
UD Head Coach Tina Martin will make an appearance at 10:15 a.m. to talk about the program and provide some insight on team tactics and plays.
A special ticket price of $6 is available exclusively to UD alumni and each person in their group. The pregame party costs $9 for adults (those 12 and older) and $6 for kids. In order to attend the pregame party, individuals must purchase tickets to the basketball game.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink as part of the NCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association Pink Zone national campaign to support breast cancer awareness. In addition, pink pom-poms are given to the first 500 kids.
