10 p.m., Feb. 9, 2010----The University of Delaware will be closed effective 5 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, because of the extreme weather conditions.
Essential personnel should report.
All public events on the campus for Feb. 10 are canceled.
For students, all four University dining halls will be open on a brunch/dinner schedule. Kent will remain as continuous, and all three C-stores will be open and operating.
The University Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center will be open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Campus buses will not be running.
The University of Delaware Library, the Carpenter Sports Building and the Trabant University Center will be closed on Feb. 10, as will the Early Learning Center, the College School and the Lab Preschool.
Accommodations will be made later in the semester for faculty who wish to make up missed classes.
