March 2: 'Rev Run' to offer words of wisdom at Trabant

1:10 p.m., Feb. 9, 2010----Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, a founding member of Run-D.M.C., author, entrepreneur and star of the MTV hit reality show Run's House, will offer “Words of Wisdom with Rev Run” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center.

The presentation is part of Black History Month 2010 and is sponsored by the University of Delaware's Cultural Programming Advisory Board. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are free with a valid University of Delaware ID, with a limit of two, and $5 for the general public. Tickets will be available beginning Monday, Feb. 15, at all UD box offices.

With the presence of God in his life, Simmons has become a man of faith and an inspiration to many. He has made his mark as one of the most influential men in American pop culture.
