10:44 a.m., Feb. 5, 2010----The University of Delaware Student Centers introduces “Spring Into Perkins” welcome week, featuring a series of events highlighting activities and services available throughout the Perkins Student Center, and ending with a special free performance by a hypnotist.
Students are invited to attend any of these events:
Perkins Open House 1
Noon to 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8.
Come find out about the services and meet the staff of the various departments housed in Perkins Student Center, including the Counseling Center, Dining Services, New Student Orientation and Student Centers.
Perkins Open House 2
Noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10
Come meet the various student organizations housed in Perkins including E-52 Student Theater, The Review, WVUD and more.
First Friday featuring Damian the Hypnotist
8 p.m., Friday Feb. 12
Bacchus Theatre
Kick off spring 2010 with a special free performance by Damian the Hypnotist, making his third appearance at UD. Come get hypnotized, or have a laugh watching others fall under Damian's spell, and be sure to arrive early to increase your chances of getting picked.
Damian is a certified master hypnotist who has been featured on film and various television and radio programs, including MTV's Spring Break. He has made many live appearances at colleges, casinos and nightclubs throughout the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
