9:47 a.m., Feb. 8, 2010----University of Delaware New Student Orientation (NSO) has launched a new Web site designed to provide easy access to important information about NSO and featuring separate sections for students and parents.
“The design is vibrant and interactive, which will hopefully be appealing to students, as well as their parents and the UD community,” said Heather Maginnis, director of New Student Orientation.
With the new site, Maginnis said “it will now be easier for students to get connected to the information they need to make a successful transition to UD, and hopefully it will help convey to new students what it means to be a Blue Hen.”
She said the site also features a link to the First Year Experience, a variety of University departments and resources, and shares information about the NSO staff. Information about becoming an Orientation Leader will be available on the site by Feb. 12.
The site design was a cooperative project of NSO and the Office of Communications and Marketing.
