8:15 a.m., Dec. 18, 2009----The University of Delaware's Boston Alumni Club will hold a special event in conjunction with a Blue Hens men's basketball game on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

The Blue Hens will be in Boston to face Northeastern University in a Colonial Athletic Association game to be played at 7 p.m. at Matthews Arena. Prior to the game, alumni will gather at 5:30 p.m. at Pizzeria Uno.

Cost of the pre-game event is $10. Tickets to the game cost $10 each, with a $4 service fee per order, and must be purchased separately through Northeastern's ticket office. Call (617) 373-4700 and ask for seats in the UD alumni block.

The Denver Alumni Club will hold a special event Saturday, Jan.30, at the city's CBS affiliate, CBS4, where Kathy Walsh, a 1978 UD graduate, is a member of the news team. The “Backstage Pass with Kathy Walsh” event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at CBS4 Denver, 1044 Lincoln St. UD alumni who attend will get a private tour of the studio, watch a live news broadcast and have an opportunity to ask questions of Walsh.
