8:32 a.m., Dec. 4, 2009----University of Delaware alumni clubs in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore are planning events Thursday, Dec. 10. The Washington club will hold a holiday party and the Baltimore club a happy hour gathering.
The Washington Alumni Club will hold a holiday party from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at RFD Washington, 810 7th St., NW. Blue Hens can gather in a private back room and appetizers will be provided.
Again this year, the club will be collecting donations for the Capital Area Food Bank, which helps feed more than 383,000 people.

The Baltimore Alumni Club will hold a happy hour gathering from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at the DuClaw Brewing Co. For details or to register for the event, see the UDconnection Web page.

The Kent and Sussex Counties Alumni Club will hold a holiday celebration from 6-10 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at Sunnybrae Mansion, 416 NE 10th St., in Milford, Del. Those who attend will have an opportunity to reconnect with fellow Blue Hens at one of the state's most beautiful estates.
