Introduction to Instructional Media Resources provides an overview of film and video resources and services available at the University of Delaware Library. The following questions will be addressed within this workshop: how can more media be incorporated into teaching, what films and videos are available for class viewing, and how can videos be checked out?

Each session will begin with a tour of the Instructional Media Collection Department facilities, which include viewing carrels, a Viewing Room, the collections area, and the Media Research Room.

Participants will be shown how to search the Media Collection in DELCAT and will be given an online tour of the Instructional Media Web page.

One workshop will be offered from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Instructional Media Collection Department desk in the lower level of the Morris Library. Presenter will be Meghann Matwichuk, associate librarian and coordinator of Instructional Media Collection Services

A second workshop will be offered from 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, also at the Instructional Media Collection Department desk. Matwichuk will be the presented for this workshop, as well.

The workshops are available at no charge and are open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff. Seating is limited and registration is required, and is available online.

Questions about the workshops may be sent to the Library via e-mail to [lib-workshops@udel.edu] or answered by calling (302) 831-2432.
