8:54 a.m., Aug. 24, 2009----University of Delaware Parking Services has announced a new parking option for commuting students who live within the parking perimeter.
Beginning this fall, commuting students can purchase an overnight parking permit that is valid in Red lots from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also enables the purchaser to park overnight and on weekends in Lot 19 off North College Avenue, Lot 53 between Academy and Haines streets, and Lot 51 at the Institute for Energy Conversion and Early Learning Center on Wyoming Road.
Overnight is defined as 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Friday. Vehicles must be moved by 7 a.m. the next business day to allow space for Gold patron parking.
The permit is also available for 24-hour access to the Roselle Center for the Arts parking garage.
