4:16 p.m., Aug. 20, 2009----Bruce Hammonds, former CEO of MBNA Corp., John Cochran, vice chairman of the University of Delaware's Board of Trustees and former CEO of MBNA America Bank, and Ken Boehl, former senior executive at MBNA, will present "The MBNA Story," the inaugural event in the Senior Executive Speaker Series, at 8 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, in 105 Arsht Hall, 2600 Pennsylvania Ave., on the University of Delaware's Wilmington campus.

The series of four seminars during the academic year is sponsored by the Lerner College of Business and Economics to provide Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) students, alumni, faculty and friends of the college with an opportunity to engage in live interactions with senior executives at the level of CEO, president and chairperson of the board.

The sessions, all of which will be held in 105 Arsht Hall, are free and open to the public, but reservations are required.

Ellen Kullman, CEO of DuPont, will make a presentation on “Positioning for Growth in a Changed Economic Landscape” during the second seminar from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13.

Louis Freeh, former FBI director and senior managing partner at Freeh Group International, will make a presentation on “Compliance in the Global Marketplace” from noon-1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010.

J. Erik Fyrwald, chairman, president and CEO of Nalco Co., will present the final seminar in the series, “Nalco: Model of Profitable Growth in Green Technology -- Growth in China and India,” from 6-7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
