Two victims--a 19-year-old male student from Delaware Technical and Community College who lives at the house and a visiting 19-year-old female UD student--were watching television in the living room when two masked men entered through an unlocked door. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the resident. The victim had no money, and the suspects fled the house without taking any property. Neither victim was injured.

According to police, the investigation thus far has revealed that the suspects may have been seeking perceived profits from the sale of illegal drugs from the residence. Marijuana plants were discovered in the house and were seized by officers. The investigation has confirmed that the male victim has sold marijuana in the past.

The armed suspect is described as about 6 feet 1 inch tall, heavyset, wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing. The other suspect is 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a thin build, and wearing a dark mask and dark clothing.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Detective Scott Rieger at (302) 366-7110, ext. 133, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
