Keith Weakley, 25, of Colchester, Conn., presented himself at the police department after taking a bus from Connecticut to Newark. According to police, a friend told Weakley he was wanted after seeing a news account.

Weakley was charged with five felonies and two misdemeanors in conjunction with a home invasion on May 20 in the first block of East Cleveland Avenue. He was released after a bond of $27,000 was posted.

Last week this week, Newark Police announced five other arrests in conjunction with four home invasion robberies in Newark.
