4:01 p.m., Oct. 3, 2008----Kathleen A. Bogle, author of the book Hooking Up: Sex, Dating and Relationships on Campus, will lecture on that topic from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7, in 140 Smith Hall.

Bogle, who received her doctorate in sociology from the University of Delaware in 2004, is an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at LaSalle University in Philadelphia. Her major areas of research interest include gender, sexual behavior and intimate relationships. Her book was released in February by New York University Press.

The lecture is sponsored by the UD Sociology Club.
