Detailed information about each, and the four-step procedure for submitting a proposal, is available at Limited Submissions on the UD Research Web site. The opportunities are as follows:

NSF 09-505 Partnerships for International Research and Education (PIRE);

USDA-CSREES-SERDIP-001905, International Science and Education (ISE) Competitive Grants Program; and

NSF 09-504 ADVANCE: Increasing the Participation and Advancement of Women in Academic Science and Engineering Careers (ADVANCE).

What is a “limited submission”? A variety of agencies offer research, career, scholar or educational funding opportunities that limit the number of applications that can be submitted from a single institution.

An internal selection process has been established by the UD Research Office to assist with these funding opportunities. For more information, contact Carole Blett, UD Research Office, at [cblett@udel.edu] or (302) 831-6925.
