10:04 a.m., May 27, 2009----The University of Delaware Library is presenting two workshops on research funding during the 2009 summer sessions.
The workshops will focus on two of the library databases, Foundation Directory Online and COS Funding Opportunities, which faculty, staff and graduate students can use to identify potential funding resources such as grants from private foundations, corporations and public charities.
The workshops will cover strategies for searching the databases, procedures for using alerting services and RSS feeds, and locating additional grant information on the Internet.
The workshops will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, June 4, from 10-11:30 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 10-11:30 a.m.
The workshops will be presented by Carol Rudisell, librarian, in the Library Instruction Room (Room 116A) on the first floor of the Morris Library.
The workshops are open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff. Seating is limited and registration is required.
For questions, e-mail [lib-workshops@udel.edu] or call (302) 831-2432.
