As part of the UD employee benefit package, employees and retirees receive Wellness Dollars that may be applied to wellness and fitness programs and services.

On July 1, all unused Wellness Dollars will be deleted and full-time employees and retirees with benefits will receive 50 “new” Wellness Dollars that, again, can be used for programs in the upcoming fiscal year.

The HealthyU staff is encouraging those individuals who still have Wellness Dollars left in the current fiscal year to use them before they lose them.

Those interested in using Wellness Dollars during this fiscal year can register for the following programs:

Through June 25: Registration for “Passport to Health” summer fitness and nutrition program, with the program itself scheduled July 6-Aug. 16. As an extra incentive, if you register during the month of May, the cost of the program is only $10 Wellness Dollars.

June 1-3: “Know Your Numbers” health screening includes measurements of blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and glucose. Offered at various building locations and times. Cost is $15 Wellness Dollars.

June 10: “Summer Shape Up” fitness workshop offered from 12:05-12:55 p.m. in Room 111 of Memorial Hall. Cost is $5 Wellness Dollars.
