8:40 a.m., May 22, 2009----The Kent and Sussex Alumni Club will hold a spring fling event at the Big Fish Grill, Route 1, Rehoboth Beach, from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 28. Soft drinks and appetizers will be provided by the UD Alumni Association and a cash bar will be available.
The Kent and Sussex Alumni Club also is collecting donations -- from food and snacks to personal hygiene products -- for the 261st Signal Brigade, in which about a dozen University of Delaware alumni are serving in Iraq.
