There are two opportunities to attend, at 4 p.m. and at 7 p.m., with both sessions to be held in City Council chambers of the Newark Municipal Building, 220 Elkton Rd.

Members of the public are invited to share, in an open platform, their likes and dislikes about the aesthetics and design aspects of downtown Newark, share their vision for the future of downtown, and help set priorities.

The forum will start with a presentation on the role of the Design Committee and give examples of local planning efforts.

Visioning Downtown Newark will be the first step in the planning process that will lead to the development of a strategic streetscape plan for downtown Newark.

The Downtown Newark Partnership includes the city, the University of Delaware, and local businesses and residential communities.
