ClearView, manufactured by Optelec, magnifies anything placed under it from 2 to 50 times its original size, always maintaining perfect focus. It is an “auto-focus desktop video magnification system.”

ClearView is easy to use for reading, writing, viewing photos, viewing objects or working with 3D objects that require magnification. Simple self-service operation provides magnification of texts and objects in different colors with adjustable brightness and contrast.

Students and other library users may wish to use ClearView to assist in reading books, articles, class notes, reserve materials and more, as well as with photos and objects.

For further information about using the ClearView device or using the Assistive Technology Center, or for any assistance for library users with disabilities, contact Jonathan Jeffery, associate librarian in the Reference Department, at [jeffery@udel.edu] or (302) 831-6945.
