2:18 p.m., March 12, 2009----The University of Delaware Library will offer a workshop April 14 that will showcase Web of Science, a database that allows users to track how often particular works and authors have been cited and that provides access to general research in a number of disciplines.

The Web of Science workshop covers research techniques to analyze the citation history of articles and ways to use “Get It!,” the document retrieval system that works in conjunction with Web of Science.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Reference Instruction Room (Room 116A) on the first floor of Morris Library. It will be presented by Thomas Melvin, librarian in the reference department.

The workshop is open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Interested individuals can register online at this Web site.
