7:55 a.m., June 10, 2009----The University of Delaware Women's Club will hold its inaugural Wine Club event at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 13, in a model unit of the Washington House condominiums on Main Street in Newark.
The wine tasting will be led by Deborah Brenner, a 1988 graduate of UD, and Katherine Henderson of Women of the Vine. Light fare will be prepared by the Stone Balloon Winehouse and wine donated by Women of the Vine.
Cost is $5 for UDWC members and $8 for nonmembers. Cash or checks, made payable to UDWC, will be collected at the door the night of the event.
The gathering will be in Suite 203 of the Washington House condominiums.
