8:29 a.m., Jan. 27, 2009----A story about University of Delaware alumni serving in Iraq as members of the Delaware Army National Guard's 261st Signal Brigade has been posted on UDconnection.com, the University's online alumni community.
The 261st Signal Brigade has a dozen University of Delaware alumni, including its commander, Brig. Gen. Scott E. Chambers, a 1984 graduate. “The fact that we have so many UD alumni in positions of leadership speaks volumes to the education we received back in Newark,” Chambers told UDconnection.
