3:47 p.m., Feb. 10, 2009----On Feb. 6, Ruckus Networks surprised students and staff at colleges and universities across the United States by shutting down. The University of Delaware had been promoting Ruckus as one of the ways UD students could download music legally.
Even though the Ruckus service is no longer available, all members of the University community are reminded that there are no excuses for illegal downloading of music, movies or other copyrighted material. Individuals have a legal responsibility to follow the copyright laws of the United States.
