7:28 a.m., Feb. 11, 2009----The University of Delaware Faculty and Staff Foreign Language Program encourages members of the campus community to brush up on Chinese, French, Italian or Spanish in classes that will be offered beginning the week of March 1 and run through the week of May 10.

Classes are open to all full-time UD faculty, professionals, staff and their spouses. Neither graduate nor undergraduate students are eligible to participate in the program.

Classes will meet from 5:15-7:30 p.m., as follows:

Chinese 2 will be offered Tuesdays in 202 McDowell Hall by Jianguo Chen.

French 2 will be offered Thursdays in 104 Willard Hall Education Building by Donna Coulet du Gard.

Italian 1 will be offered Wednesdays in 203 McDowell Hall by Vincenza Pastecchi.

Spanish 2 will be offered Thursdays in 102 McDowell Hall by Alberto Delgado Guana.

Class size is limited to 20 people and registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis, closing at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25. To register, complete the online registration form at this Web site.
