This annual exhibit features more than 200 photographic prints. Another 300 will be shown in audiovisual presentations on Sunday, March 1.

The photographs in the exhibit are chosen from more than 3,100 entries from 30 countries. Nine judges gather from around the countries to pick the items to be exhibited and to choose photographs to receive special awards of distinction.

Two members of the University of Delaware's Academy of Lifelong Learning are among award winners this year.

Karl Leck won three awards: a Delaware Valley Council of Camera Clubs award in the Pictorial Print category for his large color print, “Happy Frog,” a Photographic Society of America Mid-Atlantic award in Photojournalism for “Prelude to a Crash,” and an IIWF Gold award for “Parade of War Coffins,” in the Photojournalism Projected Images category.

Jane Strobach won a Delaware Valley Council of Camera Clubs award in the Photojournalism Projected Images category for “Shopping for Buggies.”

Academy member Emily Reed also had three photographs accepted into the exhibit.

The exhibit runs through Sunday, March 1. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 1. Members of the Delaware Photographic Society will be on hand to answer questions about the photographs on March 1, when presentations will be at 1, 2 and 3 p.m.
