10:09 a.m., Dec. 12, 2008----The University of Delaware Library and Information Technologies-User Services have announced the winners of the Student Multimedia Design Center multimedia postcard contest.
Top honors and an iPod touch went to both Ashay Dileep Javadekar, an engineering doctoral student, for “Yard Sale,” and to the team of senior Luke Anderson, of the College of Arts and Sciences, for “Ritual I.”
A group led by Shane Palkovitz, a sophomore University Studies student, won runner-up acclaim and an iPod shuffle for “Why the Road?”
All qualified participants received an 8GB Flash Drive.
The contest winners were announced duringt the Fall Multimedia Showcase held Dec. 11 in the Morris Library.
The videos of the finalists will be featured on the Student Multimedia Design Center's Student Spotlight web page.
