1:54 p.m., April 21, 2009----The University of Delaware Women's Club is planning a variety of spring events, including the annual Woman of the Year luncheon to be held at noon, Wednesday, May 6, in Clayton Hall.
The deadline for registration for the Woman of the Year luncheon is Tuesday, April 28. Cost is $25 per person.
UDWC also is planning a trip to the Nemours Mansion and Garden at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 26. Cost is $13 per person and the deadline for registration is Tuesday, May 5. Registration forms and checks will be accepted during the Woman of the Year luncheon.

In other news, UDWC has formed a wine club. The kick-off event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at the Washington House Condominiums, which located above the Stone Balloon Winehouse at 115 East Main Street in Newark. To join the wine club, contact Sandra Tilford at [stilford@udel.edu].
