2:53 p.m., April 17, 2009----The Delaware African Student Association (DASA) will hold a special event, “Snapshot of Africa,” on Friday evening, April 24, in the Bacchus Theatre of the Perkins Student Center.
The theme of the event is “Tales by Moonlight,” a tribute to the importance of storytelling in African culture.
“Snapshot of Africa” will include entertainment and a fashion show. Tickets cost $10 for University of Delaware students and faculty and $12 for the general public, and are available through Ticketmaster.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation will begin at 7.
